This Swiss beauty has it all! From La Fibbia, a mountain in the Swiss Alps, specifically in the Canton of Ticino, overlooking San Gottardo Pass. This unpolished smoky quartz is double terminated (natural points on both ends) and is self healed along the bottom. This means that it has a multitude of tiny points on an area that at a point in the past broke while in the earth (likely from an earthquake or temperature changes). Given the right circumstances and time, the crystal begins healing itself on that area. What really stands out about this piece is the dusting of chlorite on the main point, 2 sides, back and bottom. It gives a significant amount of sparkle!
The shape makes it ideal for resting in the palm of your hand with the self healed side against your skin. A nice smoky color for the region.
