At first glance this might look like Buddha, but this in fact Shiva. What are the giveaways? The third eye on the forehead, the Tripundra (3 horizontal lines across the forehead, which are sacred ash markings). The snake coiled around the neck and the hair piled up in a jata bun with a crescent moon tucked in. Labradorite is known as the stone of transformation which echoes Shiva's role. Shiva is often called the destroyer, but in the sense of transformation: clearing away the old, the ego and illusion so something new can begin. He's also the supreme yogi, associated with meditation, stillness and higher consciousness.
