Museum Quality Himalayan Nirvana Ice Quartz with Chlorite

This beauty is hands down the largest piece of ice quartz I've ever offered, as well as the highest quality. Ice quartz is found even higher than the majority of Himalayan quartz. It's formation is highly unusual because it's found in areas that were always previously encased in ice. Over the last 15 years or so the ice has melted, exposing new pockets of "ice" crystals. Because of the presence of ice during formation, these types of crystals have a very high number of faces and interrupted growth, giving it it's "ice" name. A small portion of this piece has a dusting of chlorite and anatase.

The Himalayas have been long revered as a center of spiritual practice and meditation. It's thought that this centuries long energy has been absorbed into the land and in turn, the crystals that form there.
