A star crinoid is a fossilized segment of a crinoid's stem, which exhibits a star-shaped pattern. Crinoids are ancient sea creatures related to the modern sea lily. Crinoids would use their stems to anchor to the sea floor. These stars are approximately 170 million years old (middle Jurassic). You will receive one glass jar with a removable cork top containing approximately 25 stars per jar.
